So, the Wilderspade is just a regular spade, with no special over-vanilla enchs, and no real specialty, except the purple wildertag. I propose, that when you mine sand, it auto-smelts into glass, kind of like how the copia turns sugar cane into paper automatically. I think it fits in with the theme of wildercraft, because if you would want sand, the trade off is that you can't get it with the spade. I think another possible trade-off would be a lower lvl of unbreaking. I don't know much about coding stuff like this, but I might say a 4/10, that might not be accurate, but it's the closest I can think of.
