Community Poll Update

Good morning/evening everyone, we would like to share with you the results of the community poll! The poll was open for one week, during that time we asked that you give your opinion on what should be done for 1.20 and any concerns or feedback you may have had. We held a staff meeting last night to view the results, your written responses and discuss the servers next steps. ️

The poll received 134 responses, the results are as follows:

New Tree: 11.9%

Expansion: 32.8%

Fresh Start: 55.3%

As per the results of the poll, we will be starting fresh with one tree server for the 1.20 update. While this may not be the outcome you hoped for, this is what the majority of the community feels is best for Wilder going forward. Many of you provided great reasoning for/against the options presented, explaining why one is better than the other, and giving feedback on the current state of Wilder.

 We do not have specific details yet, as we, much like you, just found out the results. We will soon have additional meetings to address and resolve your concerns, to plan out the necessary updates/changes, and to build the new server hubs. Our current estimate of when the new server could be ready is in 5 weeks. Once an official date is clear we will allow the use of world download mods during the final 2 weeks of the season. We hope that everyone enjoys the remaining time on Cedar and Evergreen, and that the new server will be just as fun as those before it.
