So I'm not sure about other people but I get a piece of ruby armor now and then from the dragon fights and without mending I don't have much use for it so I thought it might be cool to have it able to be converted into ruby fragments somehow. Could be another section in the forge gui where you combine two pieces of ruby armor to make a fragment. It seems like the ruby armor might drop less than fragments so i don't think this would be too OP.
