I finally got the FULL set of Farmer Gear (Hat, Chest, Legs, and Boots).  Went to go hit a crop of potatoes with bonemeal.  It takes one or two shots sometimes, but then ALL of the crops in the 3x3 grid DISAPPEAR.  Repeated this several times.

Did this ever get resolved?  I just tried to use a full set again, and I got all kinds of wierdness....only the leggings took any real durability damage...saw the crops disappearing thing...also had instances where carrots just appeared...sometimes the area was replanted and back to the inital growth phase...sometimes nothing was planted...I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what is the expected behavior.
