Hello! There have been complaints about the fact that the wilderbeacon is useless. Here are some ideas on effects that the wildrbeacon could have. Usually a beacon requires a 4 layer pyramid below it for max effects. However, a decent tradeoff to adding extra effects would be that you need a fifth layer (This is much more materials required, about 1.7 times more), or even a sixth layer (2.8 times more materials) This could multiply the radius of beacon effects by 2. This would allow players to cover their large bases with a desired effect, rather than needing more beacons, however, it costs more base materials to use. These would be rare drops from voting or the wilderforge.

idea: within the range of the wilderbeacon mobs can't spawn at all, allowing you to work with darkness risk-free in your build.
it's something Mumbo has talked about a lot.
