(Original made by Richy_ZS and the Rules & Info team)

These are suggested guidelines for players on how to setup a town, a village or some other form of settlement, these are not defacto rules but rather suggestions to make both players and staff's lives easier.

If the entire village/settlement is legitimately claimed and plots are sublet, then the original plot creator gets the final say as to what can be built / removed inside their claim and who may be there.

For people who build near each other and have their own claims then their builds remain their own. Wilder staff will not remove claims for players that have agreed to base next to each other, even if banned.

A local rules board helps in explaining what is/isn't allowed.

A members board helps in letting everyone know who lives there.

Village/settlement rules should ideally not be changed retroactively, so some forethought into what rules it should have is recommended.

Planning the village/settlment layout is a good idea to ensure people don't just build anything anywhere, unless this isn't a concern.

Details about what can be taken by anyone, eg iron from an iron farm should be covered in the rules, as well as what should not be taken by anyone.

If there is conflict within town or town members it should be discussed with members first. If it cannot be resolved escalate the issue to staff.

Wilder rules always take priority.

Staff will only intervene to enforce Wildercraft rules.
